Oasis welcomed a group of 30 girls and their families to Family Night at Oasis on November 17th. Parents gave great feedback about what they see for Oasis' future as well as how we can continue to provide quality services to more girls throughout the city. Girls from our Girl 2 Girl program at Francisco Middle Schoo, RISE, and Measure Up represented.
Swank Holiday Party
Missed out on our 4th annual fundraiser? Don't despair! Come to the Swank Holiday Party benefiting Oasis for Girls presented by the Powwow Network. Tickets for this Thursday, December 4th event can be purchased online now.
The Powwow Network of women entrepreneurs has partnered with Oasis since 2006 and have done everything from host holiday parties that benefit Oasis to provide done-in-a-day, volunteer career mentors for our RISE Career Networking Night to treating participants to a scrumptious meal from Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant in San Francisco. Thank you Dava and the Powwow crew for all you do!

Join Ann and the Flourish community of professional women for an evening workshop, where experts will give advice on how to achieve much desired work-life balance. Maintaining stress levels down and keeping you healthy.
Additionally, there will be a cooking demonstration where a nutritionist will teach how to prepare healthy holiday dishes. Come and network with other professional women in the Bay Area, share and have fun!
When: December 10, 2008. From 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Where: Avalon Mission Bay. 255 King Street@4th St. 19th floor. San Francisco, CA.
Cost: $60 – includes workshop, food, wine and a holiday surprise.
*15% of the ticket price will go to Oasis for Girls: a non-profit that provides a safe space where low-income girls and young women are inspired and empowered to become strong and creative leaders in their communities (www.sfoasis.org).
